Chatterpix - give photos a voice

This free app will let you give voice to any drawing or photo. Simply take any photo, draw a line to make a mouth, and record your voice. Then share your Pix via email, Facebook, and YouTube. If you’d like to restrict these options, download “ChatterPix Kids” – designed for kids with no sharing features.

This is a good resource for end-of-year celebrations with kids, for example. Have kids take pictures or draw a simple story and then record the voice of the kids telling it. The recording can be up to thirty seconds in length. You might have kids in groups interact and create a role play or a story together. Before publishing your talking picture you can add fun stickers, text, and frames to it. Finished Chatter Pix projects are saved to your camera roll. During the celebration you can show students' videos to parents. You won't have to worry about kids being ashamed or absent that day, and parents will be able to see their kids' progress.

Note: The app doesn’t require students to create an account in order to use the service. =)
